The Minister of Local Development and Environment, Dr. Manal Awwad, announced the launch of the digital system "IDEIA" for issuing environmental approvals for investors and consultants. The goal is to facilitate the process and reduce the time and effort required to obtain environmental permits. The system involves a process consisting of 7 steps: starting with creating an account on the electronic portal, then attaching documents and making electronic payments, followed by initial review, technical and administrative review, and ending with the issuance of the final approval, which is linked electronically to the project file. The system aims to support green investment and accelerate digital transformation, making the issuance of environmental approvals more efficient and transparent.
