Eastern region performs 5075 procedures in August

In August, the Health Affairs Directorate of the Eastern Province successfully performed 5,075 surgical, endoscopic, and cardiac catheterization procedures, aimed at eliminating waiting lists and providing medical care. This represents an increase of 104 interventions compared to July. Faqous Central Hospital, Zagazig General Hospital, and Abu Kabir Central Hospital topped the procedure lists, with some hospitals recording more than 200 operations, reflecting the efficiency of medical teams and efforts to improve hospital services. The directorate continues its plans to enhance the level of medical procedures and interventions to reduce waiting times and improve the quality of healthcare in the Eastern Province.
