Kuwait Faces New Iranian Threat
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Iran's repeated escalation and the attacks targeting its territories, including strikes with rockets and drones that targeted American facilities and bases in the region, including Kuwait. Kuwait affirmed that these attacks constitute a violation of its sovereignty and pose a threat to its security and regional stability, leading to a dangerous escalation that hampers diplomatic efforts for de-escalation. The Ministry also emphasized Kuwait's full right to defend itself in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. These attacks are seen as a continuation of an aggressive approach that jeopardizes regional security.
