Dakahlia scam: Woman opens fake firms

Security forces in Daqahlia have apprehended a woman who exploited the simplicity of ordinary people, especially illiterate women, to deceive them by establishing fake companies under the name of charitable associations since 2012. She involved them in debts amounting to tens of millions of pounds. The woman lured victims through power of attorney agreements and signatures on contracts supposedly to support people with disabilities, in exchange for small amounts of money. She then founded companies in their names without their knowledge. This exploitation led to large debt claims on many families. The suspect has been detained and taken for investigation, while some victims are suffering from severe psychological and financial crises as a result of the scam.
