Artist Mohamed Diab reveals touching details about the death of his eldest brother, Mohsen, in an accident during his childhood when he was just six years old, leaving a significant impact on both him and his mother. At that time, Mohsen was departing from the army after getting engaged, and the accident transformed the decorations meant for his wedding celebration into a condolence. He was an important symbol in Diab's life because he represented a meaningful sibling relationship, especially since their father was not living with them. Diab considers that his brother’s death was a profound experience that shaped his life and influenced his outlook and artistic works.
