The Minister of Civil Aviation confirmed that the construction of the fourth terminal at Cairo International Airport will add approximately 40 million passengers annually to the airport's capacity, bringing the total to around 70 million passengers per year, after currently exceeding 30 million. This step is part of a broader airport development plan in cooperation with the private sector. The ministry has completed the initial phase of the tenders, and the qualified companies will be announced during the International El Alamein Aviation and Space Exhibition. Development projects also include purchasing new aircraft and adding modern training equipment, all aimed at improving air transport services in Egypt.
