Cairo-Mersa Matruh train services halted

The Egyptian National Railways announced the suspension of additional trains on the Cairo-Marsa Matruh route and vice versa, starting from September 9th until the end of September, in order to organize operational schedules. The suspension affected numerous trains, including sleeping and air-conditioned trains, with the last departure dates ranging between September 9th and 21st. This measure comes as part of canceling seasonal and summer trains to improve the service and replace them with a new timetable.
