Apple unveils first foldable iPhone with price and release details

Apple officially launched its first foldable iPhone in history, known as the iPhone Duo, during its annual event in California. The device starts at $1,999 and is the most expensive in the iPhone series. When folded, it is about the size of a passport, and when opened, it reveals an internal 7.6-inch screen, the largest ever on an iPhone. The device supports the use of the Apple Pencil and allows for split-screen functionality to run two apps simultaneously. It will be available in stores on October 23, with pre-orders opening for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max starting September 12, priced at $1,199 and $1,299 respectively. This phone marks a major step for Apple in introducing users to the foldable phone experience.
