Average 45-minute delays on Tanta-Damietta line

The Railway Authority recorded an average delay of 45 minutes on the Tanta-Damietta-Al Minshara line on Thursday, September 10, 2026, due to track renewal and maintenance work, as well as signal system upgrades at certain locations. The authority apologized to travelers for these delays and urged them to take necessary precautions. Other lines, such as Qalyub, Zaqaziq, and Al Minshara, experienced delays of up to 45 minutes, while average delays reached 90 minutes in Benha and Port Said, and 60 minutes in the Upper Egypt governorates.
