Actor Ahmed Foad Suleiman spoke about the current issues facing Egyptian cinema, emphasizing that many works rely on imitating other societies and depict artificial images of Egyptian society, especially regarding the phenomenon of hooliganism. He clarified that art must reflect the Egyptian reality and avoid portraying characters and events in a way that undermines its credibility. He also stressed the importance of oversight to ensure responsible content. Additionally, he warned that displaying inappropriate scenes or showcasing the nudity of children in impoverished areas harms the image of the community. He emphasized that directors should focus on themes that reflect the nature and heritage of Egyptian society, avoiding the creation of unrealistic fantasies and dreams that distort the true image of Egypt.
