The President of Assiut University attended the Egyptian-Japanese celebration of expanding the application of the "Tokathsu" model in Egyptian universities. This model aims to develop students' personal and life skills through activities focused on communication, teamwork, discipline, and independence, in addition to academic achievement. The initiative is part of collaborative efforts that include signing agreements with Japanese universities, particularly Fukuoka University, to train teachers and develop the skills of female and male students. Around 320 students from four Egyptian universities—Cairo, Alexandria, Assiut, and Port Said—are expected to benefit from this program during the 2026/2027 academic year. The goal of this application is to prepare cadres capable of meeting the requirements of the labor market, while also supporting the development of digital and technological skills through partnerships with companies such as Cisco.
