Rosatom announced the manufacture of its 30th 3D printer, an industrial metal printer of the RusMelt 300M model, at the Additive Manufacturing Technologies Center in Moscow. This achievement coincides with the 30th anniversary of TVEL, a subsidiary of Rosatom’s Fuel Company, which develops additive manufacturing technologies and applies them in the production of nuclear and industrial components. 3D printers are used not only to produce high-precision parts and to accelerate product development efficiently but also to reduce weight, lower costs, minimize waste, improve metal utilization, and facilitate complex manufacturing processes. The serial production of printer models, which increased from 3 in 2023 to 13 by the end of 2025, represents progress in developing additive manufacturing capabilities in Russia, contributing to the enhancement of nuclear energy capacities and related industrial sectors.
