Healthcare's first phase in Aswan completes with 8.7M services

Currently, Aswan's facilities include 105 healthcare centers, with a plan to increase this number to 123 to expand coverage and improve healthcare services, support advanced specialties, and localize medical technologies. These efforts have resulted in registering over 81% of the governorate's population, which exceeds 1.7 million residents, with more than 307,000 examinations conducted. This phase capped a six-year journey of development aimed at enhancing the quality of facilities, medical capabilities, and supporting specialties, as part of the broader plan to expand the implementation of the Universal Health Insurance System across all governorates of the country.
