Jamal Al-Zuhairi: Hossam Hassan's team choices justified
Sports critic Gamal Al-Zuhairi discussed the mistake made by Hossam Hassan, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, in describing goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy as "the finished player." He expressed his rejection of this label and considered it unnecessary as a justification for his exclusion from the squad. He emphasized that selecting the national team roster is Hossam Hassan's right and wanted to send a message that he does not wish to include El-Shenawy, while respecting his viewpoint. Al-Zuhairi clarified that El-Shenawy deserved to be part of the team, especially since he participated in the last two league matches, and he is one of the players who should be relied upon.
