Man admits to posing as girl to scam in Giza
Security forces in Giza have arrested a suspect who impersonated a girl on social media to lure and scam victims. The defendant admitted that he was wearing women's clothing and makeup, and took photos of himself as a girl to deceive the victims into believing he was a real girl. He then contacted them, asking for money under the pretense of his personal circumstances. He was apprehended with a phone containing the conversations and images used in the scam. He also confessed to carrying out the act to steal victims' money. A report has been filed, and the prosecutor's office is currently conducting the investigation.
