Azhar institutes unveil new salute text
The article focused on announcing a standardized formula for saluting the flag in Azhar institutes across Egypt, aimed at strengthening the values of citizenship and national belonging among students. The new formula includes words that express pride in the flag and the homeland, where it says: “O youth of Al-Azhar, this is your flag; it flies under the sky of your land, and beats with the hearts that cherish it. When it rises, spirits also rise. Let us salute this flag together: Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. Long live the Arab Republic of Egypt.” This decision seeks to emphasize the importance of the Egyptian flag as a symbol of sovereignty and elevation, and to connect Azhar identity with national duty from a young age. This step is part of efforts to promote national unity and a sense of belonging among students.
