Medhat El Adl Announcements for El Helmi Anniversary
Writer Medhat El-Adl announced that he has completed selecting the cast for his new play "Salvador." Rehearsals are scheduled to begin on October 15th in preparation for its debut after Eid al-Fitr, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the passing of artist Abdel Halim Hafez. The play explores the life story of the "Dove," and it is challenging to portray his life due to his extensive history and the ongoing passion of his fans who continue to follow his songs and films. Director Ahmed Fouad is collaborating once again with El-Adl on this project, and rehearsals are being organized in anticipation of the show. The play is part of the commemorative celebrations marking the anniversary and marks their second collaboration after the play "Umm Kulthum."
