Aircraft crash triggers alert in Israel
A light civilian aircraft of the "Savannah" type crashed in Israel during a training flight, resulting in the death of a 70-year-old man and the moderate injury of a young man. The incident occurred in an open area between Kafr Qara and the Moshamar Haim settlement, and caused the plane to catch fire, which spread to nearby homes and a forest. Firefighting teams managed to bring the blaze under control. Occupation police closed Highway 65 to prevent the fire from spreading further. Investigations are underway to determine the causes of the accident, while rescue and firefighting operations continue with the participation of relevant authorities to secure the area.
