City of Arts Piano Workshop honors Marcil Matty
The City of Arts and Culture in the administrative capital concluded the advanced piano workshop, which took place from September 15 to 25, 2026, coinciding with World Music Day. The workshop saw the participation of performers and trainees from various governorates, aiming to transfer international expertise in piano teaching and to develop the skills of the participants through training on two types of pianos: "Steinway" and "Bosendorfer." Honorary concerts and a variety of musical performances were organized, including Bach's concerto and the "Bianomania" showcase, with a focus on nurturing young talents and providing continuous training opportunities. The events also featured workshops on piano maintenance, artistic insights into the relationship between music and architecture, and concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants and the honorary recognition of Dr. Marcel Maki for her achievements in piano performance and education.
