Al-Ahly Affirms Akram Tawfiq's Readiness for Asyut Match
The medical staff of Al Ahly club has confirmed that Akram Tawfik is ready to participate in the match against Bepetro Assiut in the Cairo Capital Cup scheduled for October 7, following his recovery from a cold that kept him out of the friendly against Egypt Petroleum. The player will return to normal training and will be given the opportunity to participate according to the coach’s discretion. He is an important element due to his ability to adapt to multiple positions and his physical strength, which provides the team with flexibility in the lineup. Additionally, Al Ahly is preparing for their match against Zamalek on October 11 in the league. The team is also organizing travel arrangements for the upcoming match against Kyetara in Uganda as part of the CAF Confederation Cup Round of 32. The team will travel on October 13 to face the Ugandan team, with the first leg scheduled for October 17 and the return match on October 25.
