Netanyahu reviews foreign airlines after Flydubai
Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid criticized Benjamin Netanyahu's decision to conduct a comprehensive security review of the "Fly Dubai" flight failure, describing it as "useless" and accusing him of avoiding investigation into security failures related to aviation. He stated that a series of previous failures could have led to a historical catastrophe, questioning Netanyahu's response to the incident. He added that the State Comptroller's report, issued two years ago, warned of these risks, and that Netanyahu is evading accountability for foreign civil aviation failures, pointing to orders to appoint an investigator to scrutinize security aspects related to aviation.
