Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Tahan, Secretary of the Fatwa at the Egyptian Dar al-Ifta, confirmed that the correct wording in the Tashahhud is related to saying "Our Master Muhammad" with or without adding the term "Our Master." He considered that both expressions are permissible and there is no objection to using either. He explained that some scholars, especially the Shafi’i school, prefer adding "Our Master" as a sign of reverence to the Prophet (peace be upon him), but both forms are valid. He also emphasized the importance of continuing to advise the angry parent, not interrupting him, and praying for his guidance, stressing that this is the proper way to maintain the relationship and uphold the rights of parents.
