Egypt advances rural development efforts
The "Decent Life" initiative is one of Egypt's most prominent national projects, aiming to improve the lives of over 60 million citizens living in 4,700 villages. This is achieved through infrastructure development, enhanced services, and fostering local economic growth. The initiative emphasizes the importance of investing in rural areas to promote social stability and reduce internal migration, as well as to create job opportunities and improve citizens' incomes. It also focuses on involving local economic development teams to listen to citizens' problems and demands, and to direct the necessary support accordingly.
