The Chairman of the National Media Authority, Ahmed Al-Muslimani, launched a specialized unit at Maspero that utilizes artificial intelligence techniques to improve the quality of visual and audio content. The goal is to preserve and develop Egypt's media heritage to suit modern digital platforms. The unit began with processing the famous series "Bakar," where the image quality was upgraded from SD to near 4K quality, and the sound was enhanced and cleaned, all while preserving the original identity of the content. This project aims to digitize and upgrade Maspero's heritage so that it appears appropriately for new audiences and to strengthen the continuity of Egyptian cultural values.
