Egyptian national team slips one spot in FIFA rankings
The October ranking of national teams released by the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has been announced. The Egyptian national team experienced a one-place decline, dropping from 24th to 25th position due to unstable results during the recent international break. They drew with Angola 0-0, defeated South Sudan 5-0 in African qualifiers, but lost to South Africa by a single goal in a friendly match. As a result, Ecuador moved up from 25th to 24th place, while Egypt maintained its third position in Africa, behind Morocco and Senegal.
