These include a comprehensive review of fire safety equipment, such as fire extinguishers and water lines, replacing classroom glass windows with acrylic panels, and inspecting electrical connections as well as repairing faulty fans. The guidelines also emphasize the importance of developing fire safety plans, properly distributing fire extinguishers, disinfecting water tanks, conducting quarterly evacuation drills, installing directional signage for escape routes, and providing guidance and training to fire safety personnel. These measures are part of the ministry’s efforts to ensure students' safety and reduce potential risks within schools.
