Gamal Abdel Hamid, the former Zamalek star, stated that the person holding the placard that read "Zamalek is walking with God's light" during the Zamalek versus Ghazl El Mahalla match is not a true Zamalek fan, but rather an infiltrator supporter. He emphasized that the genuine Zamalek fans always support the team and stand behind the players in all circumstances, and that individual actions do not represent the larger club's supporters. He pointed out that fan support is one of the secrets behind the club's success both locally and continentally, and that true Zamalek supporters understand the value of their club and always emphasize the importance of collective backing, away from any behaviors that tarnish the image of the fans.
