Adel Imam's Fake AI-Generated Image
A fabricated image of an elderly man believed to be Adel Imam has been circulated; however, the truth is that the picture belongs to Indian screenwriter Salim Khan, and his features have been modified using artificial intelligence technology to make him appear as Adel Imam. The image shows a man sitting inside a car, wearing a black hat—part of a common tactic of using images of people resembling the celebrity to spread recent photos of him without official confirmation. Adel Imam is currently 86 years old. His latest work was the series "Felentino" during Ramadan 2020. Sometimes, artificial intelligence is used to manipulate images to create illusions of a recent appearance, despite the denial of any recent work.
