Al-Zira'a ready for International Equestrian Championship
The General Authority for Veterinary Services has completed, in coordination with relevant authorities, implementing preventive measures in the Pyramids area in preparation for hosting the Longines Global Champions Tour – Cairo international equestrian event in October. These measures included microchipping and registering the horses, vaccinating them against equine influenza and herpesvirus, and collecting 160 samples from the horses to enhance biosecurity and health standards. These procedures are part of ensuring the highest veterinary care standards, aiming to promote the health safety of the horses and to stimulate tourism in the region.
