El Shahat challenges Sherif and Sayed before Al Ahly Zamalek match
The article focuses on Hussein El Shahat, the winger of Al-Ahly club, and his aspiration to enhance his goal-scoring record against Zamalek in the upcoming derby match scheduled for next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium. El Shahat has a notable record against Zamalek, having scored 7 goals in his previous encounters, and he needs just one more to equal the tally of Mohamed Shreif and Abdullah Al-Saeed, each of whom has scored 8 goals against the White team. Scoring two goals would give him the chance to solo lead the goal-scorers in matches against Zamalek, especially with Mohamed Shreif's absence after joining Al-Zawraa Iraqi club. Abdullah Al-Saeed remains a main competitor for this top spot. Additionally, offensive threats for Al-Ahly include Ashraf Ben Sharqi, who has scored 4 goals against Zamalek, and Mohamed Magdy Arafsha, with two goals against them, underscoring the importance of this showdown both individually and statistically. All eyes are on Hussein El Shahat to see whether he can surpass records and achieve personal milestones during a match that transcends mere points, offering him an opportunity to set a new scoring record against Zamalek.
