Egypt Provides Winter Relief to Gaza Displaced
The Egyptian Committee in Gaza has launched the campaign "Hand in Hand... Support and Security" to aid Palestinian displaced people ahead of winter, aiming to provide tents, tarps, blankets, and mattresses to improve their living conditions and protect them from cold weather and rain. The campaign responds to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and includes distributing aid starting from the Egyptian camps and expanding to cover displacement areas within Gaza, with a focus on protecting children and the most vulnerable families from harsh weather conditions. This initiative reflects humanitarian solidarity and strengthened support for the residents in facing winter challenges, emphasizing the importance of meeting their basic needs, especially livelihood protection, amid ongoing difficult circumstances caused by displacement and war.
