Free eye treatment convoy at Suez University
Port Said Governorate, in cooperation with Suez University and the Suez Cooperative Society for Community Development, launched a free specialized medical convoy in ophthalmology and eye surgery at Suez University Hospital. The convoy includes free screenings for citizens, surgical procedures for cataracts and glaucoma, treatments for retinal and corneal diseases, as well as the provision of 150 pairs of glasses monthly to support patients. This initiative is part of efforts to improve healthcare standards and expand free medical services, aiming to alleviate the burden on citizens and ensure that a broader segment of the population has access to specialized care.
