Postal Customs Seize £12M Cannabis Oil
The Parcel Customs Department managed to seize a package from the United States containing approximately six containers of cosmetic products. It was found that one of them contained cannabis oil, with an estimated value of 12 million pounds. This operation is part of the state's efforts to combat the smuggling of prohibited substances. It comes within the framework of tightening customs controls at border crossings and thwarting smuggling attempts, thereby protecting community security and strengthening the national economy through safeguarding the society and countering illegal imports.
