Saudi strikes on Houthi sites in Taiz
Saudi fighter jets launched airstrikes on Houthi positions at Salla Hill in Taiz province, following an escalation that included an attack on King Khalid Airport in Riyadh. The strikes targeted Houthi strongholds on the plateau with a strategic location, giving them effective ballistic control over the area. This escalation occurs within the ongoing clashes between the Houthis and Yemeni forces supported by the Saudi-led coalition, as the "Defense Shield" forces announced the thwarting of a Houthi infiltration attempt near Dhu Al-Baab Airport. Meanwhile, a large number of Houthi fighters have fled by sea in the Bab al-Mandab region.
