Coalition Conducts Attack on Riyadh Airport
The attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh resulted in the death of 12 people and injuries to over 300, following an assault carried out by the Houthi group using cruise missiles and unknown projectiles. The air defense system managed to intercept and destroy one of the missiles. The attack caused a fire at the airport, and the relevant authorities continue their efforts for assessment and rescue. This escalation comes as part of the increasing Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, with the airport having been previously targeted in attacks that killed four people and damaged an aircraft, amid warnings of deteriorating security conditions in the region.
