Today, the Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Mosque launched the imam selection exams for Qibla under a mission-based system. The exams will continue for four days, aiming to select the best competencies in the field of leading prayer. These exams are conducted in implementation of the directives of His Eminence Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb and with the approval of Azhar's Deputy Ayman Abdel Ghani, with the goal of strengthening Al-Azhar's role as a source of moderate Islamic thought and promoting tranquility and reverence among worshippers, especially during the month of Ramadan. The exams target employees of Al-Azhar institutes and preaching areas, and are conducted under the supervision of Azhar leadership and with meticulous organization to ensure the selection of qualified imams.
