Al-Ahly's win fails to impress fans
Sports critic Abdel Hamid El Sharkeeby criticized Al Ahly's performance under the leadership of Hussein Amouta, affirming that the fans remain dissatisfied with the players' level despite their victory over Zamalek in the top match. He pointed out that Al Ahly has become reactive, relying on quick offensive substitutions rather than taking the initiative, which reflects a lack of proactive spirit within the team. Despite the win, neither the players nor the fans displayed the usual joy expected from such an important event, with El Sharkeeby emphasizing that collecting points remains the most crucial goal at this stage.
