The four Moscow airports temporarily suspended flight operations on Sunday evening due to the approach of Ukrainian drones. All landings and takeoffs were canceled for a brief period. Twenty-five aircraft were redirected to other airports, and at least 23 drones were downed before reaching the city’s borders, with no confirmed damages or breaches of air defenses. This move comes amidst escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine and reflects ongoing security threats from the Ukrainian side.
