Trump discusses Russia and China aiding Iran
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that China and Russia are not helping Iran at all, considering that both countries have much to lose if they support Tehran. He emphasized that the alleged support from Moscow and Beijing for Iran is very minimal, and that the truth will be revealed quickly. While Russia and China have maintained close relations with Iran—Moscow warning that war with Iran could lead to a nuclear arms race in the Middle East, and Beijing condemning Washington's attacks on Iran—reports have indicated that China has supplied Iran with missile launchers and is assisting Tehran in bypassing oil sanctions. However, Trump denied the existence of concrete Chinese or Russian support for Iran in its conflict with the United States.
