IRGC Navy threats over Strait of Hormuz
The commander of the IRGC Navy, Admiral Ali Asgari, threatened to sink American warships if they approach the Strait of Hormuz, confirming that his forces are waiting for the moment they come near and are prepared to carry out such an action. He stated that the IRGC is currently conducting operations against ships that violate the rules, and that the American aircraft carrier, estimated to be worth $13 billion, has moved approximately 700 kilometers away from the strait. Iran also anticipates that U.S. ships and their allies are providing media coverage of their movements, amid rising threats in the vital Hormuz Passage for transporting oil and gas.
