Magdy Abdel-Aty steps down as El Ittihad coach
Magdy Abdel Aaty, the head coach of Abu Qir Fertilizers team, has submitted his resignation after their 2-1 loss to Badr El-Dawli Petroleum in the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League. The decision to resign came as a result of a series of negative results that placed him in the lower positions on the league table, as the team had only earned 3 points from five defeats, marking their fifth consecutive loss. Meanwhile, Badr El-Dawli Petroleum secured their first win of the season, raising their total points to 5 and placing them in sixteenth position, while Abu Qir remains in eighteenth place.
