Mohamed Nawar Opens Gouna Festival
At the opening ceremony of the 9th edition of the El Gouna Film Festival, a live musical performance was held, led by Egyptian composer Mohamed Nawara. The event, which began just moments ago, was attended by stars and filmmakers from Egypt, the region, and around the world. Guests were welcomed by artist Yasmine El Abed, who emphasized the importance of cinema in preserving collective history and fostering human connection, while also reminding everyone of this year's festival slogan: "Cinema for Humanity: The Archive of Stories."
