Central Command: 97% of ships passed Hormuz
The American forces continued their control over the Strait of Hormuz, successfully allowing 97% of the ships attempting to pass through to do so without Iranian attacks, keeping the strait open for navigation. Over the past week, around 400 commercial ships transited the strait, and Iran was prevented from conducting export and import operations, with only aid ships permitted to pass. Additionally, American forces assisted Gulf partners in shipping more than 100 million barrels of crude oil in the last week alone, and 1.3 billion barrels over the past few months, revealing the impact of the economic blockade on Iran, estimated at $25 billion.
