Surgical procedure ends top scorer's Zamalek deal

Ahmed Sulaiman, a member of the Zamalek Club's Board of Directors, revealed that an important transfer opportunity for the team was lost due to a surgical operation he underwent. The player who was being considered was Mahmoud Mamdouh, a forward from Haras El Hodoud, who scored 6 goals this season and was leading the top scorer chart in the Premier League. Sulaiman explained that the deal did not go through because of the player's health condition at the time, and that he is now playing with Modern Sport Club.
