Al-Ahly Faces Key Challenge vs Kyetara
Al Ahly begins its journey in the CAF Confederation Cup with a match against Ugandan team Kyetarra in the first leg of the Round of 32, following a 12-hour journey to Uganda. Al Ahly aims to achieve a positive result that will help secure their qualification to the group stage, while also trying to break a historic curse, having won only one out of six previous matches in Uganda. The team enters the match with high morale after their victory over Al Zamalek in the 133rd Cairo Derby, and they hope to improve their record in African competitions, marking their first participation since 2015 after an 11-year absence.
