Yousra stresses teaching traditions and language
Actress Yousra stated that Egypt has talented screenplay writers, such as Tamer Habbib and Mariam Naoum, but the number is not sufficient to meet the challenges of the film industry, which needs greater support. She emphasized the importance of educating children about the customs and traditions of the homeland to strengthen national identity. She pointed out that the lack of quality content for children, especially in translation, threatens to lead to the decline of the Arabic language and its transformation into local dialects, which would be a disaster for Arab identity. She also noted that cinema relies heavily on visuals, and that scripts should carefully consider language accuracy when translated.
