The death sentence was carried out on a man and a woman convicted of committing fornication inside a mosque in Mecca, following a judicial ruling in the case. This comes as part of the legal measures followed by the authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to impose strict penalties on crimes related to morality and ethics in holy places.
