US Embassy in Riyadh issues alert for Middle East citizens
The American Embassy in Riyadh issued a warning to American citizens in the Middle East, urging them to exercise extreme caution due to the deteriorating security situation in the region. On another note, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Iran has lost control of the Strait of Hormuz, through which between 13 and 14 million barrels of oil pass daily. He also mentioned Iran's efforts to build a missile and drone shield aimed at developing nuclear weapons, while reducing its military and naval capabilities, as part of efforts to cripple Iran's economy.
