Saudi prince warns of Gulf divisions
Saudi Prince Abdulrahman bin Mosaad emphasized the importance of unifying the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and avoiding distractions caused by comparisons and statements that create divisions among the member states. This call comes amid current regional tensions and escalating events between the United States and Iran, which could lead to further escalation in the region. He urged the strengthening of Gulf unity and the hardening of its stance against organized campaigns on social media aimed at weakening the ties between the GCC countries. He warned against exploiting the current situation to deepen disagreements. Additionally, he stressed the importance of wise leadership working together to resolve disputes, raising awareness to avoid statements that lead to division, and focusing on issues of unity and solidarity during this critical period.
