Israeli police detain 8 over journalist attack

This morning, the Israeli police arrested eight suspects in connection with investigations into acts of violence that took place in the West Bank. The incidents included attacks on American journalist Heidi Leven and European diplomats in two separate cases. The police did not disclose the identities of the suspects or the nature of the charges against them. Investigations into the attackers are ongoing, amid a rise in settler attacks against Palestinians during the olive harvesting season and an increase in clashes in the occupied territories.
